Copper grease: where to use it and why
Copper grease, a friend of performance
Copper grease is a paste-like mixture used to protect all car components that are subject to strong friction, oxidation and corrosion.
Copper grease is used in particular in motorsport for its peculiar characteristics of resistance to high temperatures, high pressures and durability over time.
Its ability to resist water, acids, high pressures and high temperatures (and fire) means that copper grease finds application on racing cars for example, in the assembly of exhaust systems, the lubrication of brakes, clutches, and in all parts exposed to dirt, dust and splashes (such as wheel studs), preventing corrosion and rust and protecting them from excessive wear.
